Angular Contact Ball Bearings

Angular Contact Bearings have raceways in the inner and outer rings that are displaced relative to each other in the direction of the bearing axis. These bearings are designed to accommodate combined loads—simultaneously acting radial and axial loads. Single-row bearings accommodate axial loads in one direction only. Double-row bearings are basically two single-row bearings arranged back-to-back, but take up less axial space. They accommodate radial loads as well as axial loads in both directions.Machined Brass cages are machined from cast or wrought brass and are unaffected by most common bearing lubricants, including synthetic oils and greases. Clean up using normal organic solvents.Machined Steel cages are made of nonalloyed structural type steel to improve sliding and wear resistance properties.PEEK, or glass fiber-reinforced polyetheretherketone is popular for demanding applications—high speed, high temperatures, or a need for chemical resistance. PEEK cages combine strength and flexibility, high-operating temperature range, high chemical and wear resistance, and good processability.
